Connect
Once you’ve had a chance to review my work (see galleries!) let connect and discuss your event and desires for your big day.

Save your Date
Once you've made a decision to proceed we'll secure your date and sign a contract so that you can be confident you are booked and covered for all of your needs.
03.
Picture time
The big day! I like to arrive well in advance of your ceremony, most often we'll do getting ready photos which gives us a chance to get comfortable and spend some time capturing the little details prior to a first look, your ceremony or bridal party photos.
04.
Delivering photos
In the first week or so I will provide a handful of highlights so that you have some photos to share right away. The full set usually takes 3-4 weeks before final delivery of your personal curated online gallery.
Why are you different?
Providing full colour images is rare these days. Final delivered images are usually heavily stylized meaning you'll never have your original full colour images should you desire. It's easy to stylize- it's impossible to add colour back that you've lost in that editing process. I generally produce full colour, vibrant and timeless photos. I can provide stylized sets as well and/or black and whites.
Do you provide RAW photos?
Yes, unlike most photographers I am willing to release my RAW photos giving you the "originals" to your wedding day. You will have additional photos edited that were not part of my original selection. Should you ever want true colour images of your day having the "RAW" images is critical.
What's your background?
I'm a self taught professional photographer with well over a decade of experience shooting weddings. I've done commercial photography work, produced films including commercials and short documentaries - but my formal education is a degree (graduating with distinction) from UVIC in commerce as well as (post-grad) earning the CFA designation.
Can you replicate a photo I've seen elsewhere?
I always love the challenge! With the right conditions almost certainly. Don't hold back on sharing photos you like!
How many pictures will I receive?
This depends on the details of your package. Typically you'll receive at minimum 500 final edited images. I've delivered as many as 1500 edited images from larger weddings.
Do you do engagement photos?
Yes! Certainly. It's a fun way to get to know each other before the big day!
Do you do wedding films as well?
Yes, absolutely. I have a videography team that I typically employ on the day of so that we have enough hands and cameras on the go! I do provide films only as well.
Will you travel to my venue?
Yes! Certainly, I've travelled deep into desolation sound for weddings and all over the mainland as well. Travel fees apply but are generally very reasonable.
Do you have a second shooter?
Yes, let's discuss your needs!
Are you capable of shooting at night?
More than capable. A lot of photographers are most comfortable as "natural light" photographers. Artificial lighting (flash) is difficult to use well and to execute consistently. It's important to be competent and able to capture those late night shots, cake cutting etc.
